Each year Mencap holds a film festival. A theme for the year is given and the rules are that the film either needs to be by, or with the involvement of, someone with learning disabilities. 

The theme for the year in question was “Active”. This gave me an idea and I contacted my friend, Sarah Gordy MBE.
